Each year during the cool season, the people of Nan and from all over Thailand turn out in full force to support and participate in our annual Pukha Nanfa Mini-Marathon for charity.

        Pukha Nanfa Hotel and the Nan Provincial Government are hosts of this fun run, which was inaugurated in 2011 for a good cause, to support the tourism industry in Nan as well as to encourage everyone to exercise regularly for good health. A great way to foster a sense of community and camaraderie amongst participants and spectators alike!

        Several organizations in Nan benefit each year from the proceeds of this marathon including Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Charity Fund, Nan Hospital, the Special Education Centre, and others.

        The 10-kilometre route takes runners through scenic spots like ancient and modern temples, friendly villages, local art and cultural attractions, highlighting the unique Lanna identity of Nan as well as the daily life of its people.
